“MODERATE” DRINKING IN YOUNG MEN?
Monday, June 11, 2018

In a study from Sweden, 43,000 men between 18-20 years old in 1969 were followed for an average of 39 years. Those young men who drank 1-2 drinks of alcohol per day were more likely to develop severe liver disease later in life.  So, 1-2 drinks per day in a young man is not a healthy choice, and is more likely to lead to long term liver damage.  Journal of Hepatology March 2018.  MS
